Box Five Radio | Spicy Brothers | Puebla City Mexico

Spicy Brothers are an electronic music duo formed by Nabore Serrano and Johnny Habanero from Puebla, Mexico. Passionate about sharing music, their career as DJs began in 2003 when they joined forces to create a unique style of mixing, which captures the attention of audiences and gives them access to different residences in Puebla, Cholula, and currently in California. Their penchant for House music has always been prominent in their mixes and music projects. Among their different presentations include Winter Music Conference (WMC) in Miami, Florida in 2012, and their participation in the Northwest House Music Conference (NWHMC) in Portland, Oregon this past August.

In 2008, the Spicy Brothers, in their eagerness to share music and knowledge, decided to create Black Diamond Productions (BDP); a company based in California and Mexico. BDP’s mission is to promote local music and globally, focusing on electronic genres like “House” and all its variants. Spicy Brothers sets are characterized by a mixture of pianos, guitars, congas, and Latin genres – Deep and Funky Jackin House. Their songs have been supported by various DJs and producers such as Andrew Duke (Sound Designer for Computer Music, Music Tech, Sound Ideas, Fxpansion), DJ Jennifer “Seraphim” Desai (Chicago House FM Records) and Tony Smitherman (Sugar Shack Recordings). The SB have shared the stage with artists such as Wally Callerio (dufflebag), Tommy Largo (DeepJackin Records), Colette (OM Records), Corduroy Mavericks (Tango Records), Hatiras (Rising Records), and Forrest Avery (Serial Sickness). They broadcast a live show every Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm CST on
